DAY 7
HOPPER
ANIMAL KINGDOM, EPCOT, HOLLYWOOD STUDIOS

For our last full day in Disney World we chose to use a hopper pass. We wanted to ride our favorite rides as many times as we could before we have to start that long drive home.
B is going to join us and that's super great!

His favorite ride is Expedition Everest ... here we go (again) ... love this ride!

We missed Little Mermaid the other day so we got to watch that one;
That's not the little mermaid ... LOL

Soarin'

picture is a little blurry but it is such a cool ride...

Dinner at Rainforest Cafe

And wouldn't you know B has one more surprise for us before we head back ...

So we got a seat before it got dark. Parked the wheel chair and Carol, Bob, B and I all waited for the show to begin.

so many lights and so much action ... this is great!

And that's how we ended our 2 week vacation ...
This was the best trip ... I hope I can do it again someday.

DAY 6
DOWNTOWN DISNEY

OK ... we have been at Disney World for 6 days now. Here's a recap ...
Arrival day: I chose to take pictures of All Star Movie, All Star Music, and All Star Sport Resorts (see my earlier blog)
Day 1: (what I call day 1) I spent at Magic Kingdom. That is a great way to start this vacation. Lots of rides, characters, and the fireworks to end the day. (see earlier post)
Day 2: Was spent at Animal Kingdom. This was the day I got to be IN the parade! WAY COOL!
Day 3: I went back to Animal Kingdom. Didn't get to be in the parade this time, but had a great time with my friend Carol.
Day 4: Hollywood Studio: Backlot Tour, Beauty and the Beast, Indiana Jones, Muppet Vision, and lots of characters
Day 5: Epcot. My 2nd favorite park so far! Ellen's Energy Adventure, Living with the Land, Mission Space, Nemo and Friends, Soarin', Spaceship Earth

So what to do on day 6? Bob and I are going to the Downtown. The shuttles will take you there free if you are staying in one of their resorts (which we are).
2 of my favorite spots are Lego land and T-Rex Cafe. Although we also ate at Wolfgang Puck for dinner.

When you go ... have fun with it! I DID!

did I tell you I like Winnie the Pooh? (but Tigger is my favorite)

Got to have a picture in Mouse Ears!
And don't forget to look up ... I saw Peter Pan and Windy too.

LEGO LAND!!! I can't believe they make these with lego's.

If you have never been in one of the many T-Rex Cafe's ... They are amazing just to walk through and get a few pictures. (they will let you do that!)

this is a sample platter ... comes out in 3 levels of food ...

way too much food for 1 person! or even 2... and that was just for lunch.

watch this guy if you have little children that could get scared easily. He is animated and roars.

What a way to end another great day at Disney World.

DAY 5
EPCOT

My friend Carol is back with us today (although she will be riding in the wheel chair most of the time) We are going to have a great day!

We got to go around the world at Epcot ... there are so many neat buildings, and shops. Lot's of places to eat ... we were trying different foods (I'm a vegetarian) but still found lots to things to try.

I love the different things you can see ... just looking around ... like this spider cut into the lawn ...

Carol chose not to ride all the rides I did. She decided to just people watch part of the time.

Remember when you travel with the young at heart that sometimes just being there is just as much fun for them. They don't need to always be going and doing things. Carol loved to watch the people with their little children and see the smiles on their faces. She enjoyed watching the street shows, and even the people sweeping up the trash ... I think she told me one young lady stopped and spoke with her for a bit, and one gentleman (sweeping up) even did a dance for her ... LOL ... she really was having a good time!

just a couple pics of us being silly ... trying on the hats and laughing at each other was one of our favorite things to do! These are our Mexico Shots!

Lunch Time! We never really had a problem with lines when it came to feeding times ... LOL ... as you can see here, no waiting!

Ellens Energy Adventure

Living with the Land boat ride

learn about plants and the way they can be grown ... great for kids, it was out of the sun and a chance for parents to rest their feet.

Mission Space

Nemo and Friends
Kids love see the cool fish in the tanks too

Soarin'

This was one of my favorite rides ... you just feel like your soaring over all these great landmarks ... must ride !!!

Spaceship Earth
Now this ride was just SO-ooo cute ... there's a little surprise for you when you at the end.

END OF DAY 5
EPCOT (MY 2ND FAVORITE PARK SO FAR!)
